ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΥΡΩΠΑΙΚΗΣ ΑΚΑΔΗΜΙΑΣ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ (ERA) ΓΙΑ ΤΟ 2019

Τhe Academy of European Law in Trier/Germany (ERA) will be organising in 2019 two seminar series on EU anti-discrimination law and on EU gender equality law. Both seminar series are fully financed by the European Commission and open to the participation of European judges and prosecutors.

Series of seminars on EU anti-discrimination law:This series of seminars deals with the EU anti-discrimination Directives 2000/78 and 2000/43 (covering discrimination on the grounds of race, age, disability, religion and sexual orientation). Participation is particularly advisable for labour judges.

Brussels, 19-20 September 2019, English/French – deadline: 10 July 2019
Trier, 11-13 November 2019, English/German – deadline: 18 September 2019 (please note that the programme of the event in Trier includes a visit to the CJEU in Luxembourg)

Financial conditionsFor all of these seminars, ERA can reimburse participants up to 450 EUR of travel costs and we will directly cover 2 nights accommodation.

Series of seminars on EU gender equality law:This series of seminars is devoted to the EU law on equality between women and men. Again, participation is particularly advisable for labour judges.

Thessaloniki, 24-25 June 2019, English/Greek – deadline: 15 April 2019
Lisbon, 28-29 October 2019, English/Portuguese – deadline: 4 September 2019
